A Message from MAG Visitor Services:

While it has been difficult to have our doors shut to the public for the past few months, it has been an opportunity for us to work on some major upgrades to the MAG. One of our focuses has been the digital integration of our front end services.

    In the past, our Point of Sale (POS) system and Contact Management System (where we store information regarding memberships, purchase, etc.) have been two separate entities, which made more work for our staff and often slowed our financial transactions down. Now was the perfect time to upgrade to a tool called Veevart, which is an application specifically designed for art galleries, museums, and other cultural institutions to help us better connect with our audience.

    What does this mean for you? Well, a few things will be a little different, but overall your experience shouldn’t change too much.

  • You may see some changes to our website when you go to purchase things online. As it stands now, a few sections have been migrated to Veevart (from either Acuity or Paypal that you may be used to seeing).  The most important piece of knowledge you will need when interacting with Veevart is the email you used to sign up for your membership. This email is connected to your account within the system and will ensure you get membership prices (when applicable) and is where all of the correspondences will go.

*If you’re not sure which email you used, please feel free to contact me and we can get that sorted out!

  • Automatically emailed receipts.  Regardless of whether you make your purchase online, over the phone, or in person, you will automatically receive an email copy of your receipt, stating what you purchased, the cost, and method of payment.
  • Renewal reminder emails.  An automatic email will be sent to you before your membership expires, therefore cutting down on paper waste and making communication more direct and effective.

    This transition will be a process, and these are just a few of the improvements Veevart has already made to our processes.  We are still learning more everyday about what this program can do for us and I look forward to sharing our progress with you!
