miniMAG at home - Torn Paper Collage Heart

Texture and pattern! Tearing and gluing! Makes a lovely Valentine.

What you need: Cardboard, collage papers, watery white glue, glue brush, and scissors.

Step 1. Cut a large heart shape from cardboard, mat board or foam core.

Step 2. Starting at the bottom, glue torn strips of paper on the heart.

Step 3. Overlap the strips as you move up, don’t worry about paper hanging over the edges.

Step 4. Cover the entire heart. Clean up the edges by tearing off the overhanging bits of paper.
