Keeping the Creativity at Home with MAGnificent Saturdays - August 15, 2020

Today's MAGnificent Saturdays art activity for you to do at home:

Blot Bug

Have you ever wanted to make a painting out of squished paint? Here’s your chance to see what will happen and what you can make out of it when you squish paint in the crease of paper. Today you will be creating a Blot Bug!

Did you know there are over 900,000 different insect types known at this time? - Learn more about insects from the Smithosonian.

Don't forget to tag us on Facebook, Twitter @RedDeerMuseum or Instagram @rdmag #MAGsatathome with your creations! We'd love to see them.

You can download the instructions here.

What You Need: Paper, paint, markers.

Step 1. Start by folding your page down the middle and adding a few blobs of paint.
