Cardboard Robot

Family Art Wednesdays

What sound does a robot make? Today you are going to assemble a variety of items to create your very own cardboard robot!

Download the instructions here.

What you need: Paper + pencil to plan.  Recyclables, cardboard, hot glue gun, paint, coloured paper, googly eyes, buttons, pipe cleaners, etc.

Step 1. Make a plan, decide what you want your robot to look like! Sketch it out.

Step 2.  Build your robot piece by piece; attach pieces with hot glue gun. Does your robot have legs? Wheels? Extendable arms?

Step 3. Paint, or decorate with coloured paper, add detail decorations with buttons, googly eyes, pipe cleaners, etc. Add anything you would like to make your robot come to life!
