We came across these two little gems in our recent re-organization and shuffle of our MAGCentral Lending collection.

Corona branded typewriter and 'The Springfield' toilet paper holder

With the Corona virus on the top of our minds – we were surprised to see a typewriter with the brand name Corona in our collection. It is the item to the right of it that really had us puzzled, though: can you tell what it is?

..... It’s a toilet paper holder! The raised lettering on it reads “The Springfield” Morgan Envelope Co. Springfield, Mass. Patented June 6, 1893 – May 1, 1906. The goal was to get only one sheet at a time. Here is an example of the kinds of toilet paper that would be used in this holder.
