Art Speaks: Artists and Collectors Series

Burning Man: A Multi-Media Artist's experience at Burning Man!
with Mary Guthro Sabbe

Registration has closed. This program is full.

Art Speaks is a learning series held on select Wednesday evenings co-presented by the Red Deer Arts Council (RDAC) and Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery (MAG).

"Burning Man" is an annual event in which citizens are active participants in the experience. Join local artist Mary Sabbe, a multi-media artist that has found a love as a builder within the large art community, for a talk about her past experiences with Burning Man.  She believes that large art is about creating, connection and community.  She has participated with artists globally, collaborating on art for Burning Man and other arenas to display the amazing large scale art.

This presentation will take place at the Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery. Limited space available. COVID-19 guidelines will be followed.

Registration is required. The cost to attend each session is $8 for valid MAG/RDAC members, or $10 each for non-members. Non-refundable. For ages 18+. Register below.

*Must hold a valid MAG or RDAC Membership in order to receive the member rate. Become a MAG member to receive member pricing. The member discount code for this program is sent via the MAG & RDAC's e-newsletters. If you did not receive a code, give us a call at 403.309.8405.
