Spirit Seekers - Eastview Middle School

Oct 22nd, 2019

3:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Spirit Seekers is a partnership between The Boys & Girls Clubs of Red Deer & District, The Red Deer Native Friendship Society, and The Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery (MAG).

Spirit Seekers is an inclusive, active and fun program rooted in indigenous cultural history for anyone in grades 6-8. Spirit Seekers is established with active learning, Cultural History, and Indigenous skills all taught through BGC core values and the 7 sacred teachings.

Sprit Seekers is expanding its reach this year by running twice a week at two schools. We are running a 16 week program on Tuesdays and an 8 week program on Thursdays at select middle schools from October-June. The group meets in the schools, but also does field trips to the MAG and the Native Friendship Centre.
