As the MAG is in a City-owned facility, we are adhering to City of Red Deer policy and taking part in the provincial Restrictions Exemption Program. Visitors aged 12 and older will need to provide proof of vaccination, proof of vaccination exemption, or proof of a negative test result. Memory Bones is a personal exploration of memory, identity and loss through symbolic imagery and found objects. Jewel Shaw uses a combination of traditional printmaking, drawing and digital media to explore concepts that relate to genetic memory and epigenetics. Her work investigates how ancestral trauma may be passed on through DNA, influencing ones lived experience and identity.
