As part of First Fridays Red Deer this January, join a MAG staff member for informal tours of our permanent history exhibition, Remarkable Red Deer: Stories from the Heart of the Parkland from 5-8 pm. Enjoy some light refreshments and snacks. Free to attend; donations gratefully accepted. 

About Remarkable Red Deer:

This 4800 sq ft exhibition uses a thematic approach to showcase our diverse heritage and highlight many of the little known “firsts” developed here. A creative mix of historic artifacts, archival material and modern technology will tell the stories of the lives of ordinary people, stories of vision, sacrifice, hardship and success. Visitors of all ages will enjoy a rich, multi-media experience.
