SUMMER PROGRAMMER - Canada Summer Jobs

Full-time; 12 week term

The Summer Programmer plans and facilitates art and craft projects and educational play activities for summer day camps and special event activities for children. The summer day camps are designed for children between the ages of 6 and 11 years. They are highly interactive and they are designed to inspire children to have an interest in hart and the history of our community. They are designed to increase awareness of the First Nations and the many cultural groups who are part of Central Alberta’s community. The Summer Programmer will assist the Visitor Experience Team in planning and presenting the MAG’s annual ‘Welcome to Red Deer’ Heritage Day Event, which welcomes and celebrates all newcomers to Red Deer.

REGISTRATION ASSISTANT - Young Canada Works

Full-time; 12 week term

The position is responsible for the compilation and maintenance of clear and accurate records of the Museum’s collection.

QUALIFICATIONS

*Please note that this position is contingent on grant funding from the Young Canada Works Program. Candidates must register on the YCW website and meet the YCW eligibility requirements.
