17th Annual Heritage School Fairs Project
An ideal inquiry process for Grades 4 through 9 – those grades looking at Canadian History. Students present their work using the format of their choice ; they can perform it, build it, write it – poetry, essays, scripts or speeches -- draw it, digitize it, and any combination thereof. Students are encouraged to interview community elders and utilize community resources like Museums, Libraries and Archives to conduct their research.
Participating schools will provide a venue for students to present their history project at school or a parent evening. A selection will be exhibited at the Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery.
