Celebrating Our Parks

May 26th, 2017

10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Back to Previousarrow

Why should we be setting aside land for parks?  We will be looking at the history and the heritage value of our National Parks, Alberta’s Provincial Parks and the municipal parks in Red Deer.  Our parks exemplify the natural beauty of our environment, the history of our land and the people who live here.  We will be discussing our park spaces while working on nature based art projects.

A unique atmosphere where home school students and parents can come together every month from September to May to create & learn!

Designed for home schoolers aged 3-16. Cost $5 per participant per day.
Register by phone – 403-309-8405; use the registration form below, or drop in to the MAG at 4525 – 47a Avenue.
