Art Speaks engages adults in topics on art or collections in an informal social setting. Presenters are local experts in their field or art practice.
There are three sub-themes to the Art Speaks Learning Series:
• The Business of Being an Artist series
• Artist and Collectors series
• Understanding Art series
The presenter talks for 1 hour, followed by a 30 minute Q&A period. These talks can be virtual or in-person.
We offer 6 talks/year (September-April). This learning series is co-presented by the Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery (MAG) and Red Deer Arts Council (RDAC).
Presentations take place from 6:30-8 pm on select Wednesdays (fall/winter) at the Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery
$10/session valid MAG members and RDAC members
$15/session regular
