MAGapalooza presents: Extreme Printmaking

February 20, Family Day, 1-4 pm

* This event was previously titled 'MAGapalooza presents: Canadiana!'

The Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery (MAG) is gearing up to get extreme this Family Day! We’re thrilled to throw open the doors for our annual FREE Family Day event, happening on Monday, February 20th from 1-4 pm here at the MAG. We’ve got loads of fun planned for the day, from Slap Shot Hockey Printmaking to Monotone Bumper Prints made by riding tricycles, a Winter Fun Snow Zone, and snacks, of course! Admission to this event is FREE; donations are gratefully accepted.

Red Deer Mosaic Tim Van Horn

On hand this day photographer Tim Van Horn will be on site with his camera to capture portraits of Red Deerians for a Canada 150 commemorative photo mosaic that will be permanently installed on the exterior of the building. Come down to the MAG and create some art, have extreme amounts of fun and have your portrait taken by Tim to help us make history! For more information on Tim’s Canadian Mosaic project, visit:

We gratefully acknowledge the financial support of the Government of Canada for our Canada 150 commemorative "Red Deer Mosaic" project. This mosaic will be comprised in part of photos taken by Tim Van Horn at the MAGapalooza: Extreme Printmaking Family Day 2017 event.

Nous reconnaissons l’appui financier du gouvernement du Canada.
